About Me

Patty offers a nature-based, in-home bilingual Spanish immersion program for children who begin the school year aged 6 weeks to 15 months. Infants and toddlers are gently introduced to Spanish at "A Jugar! Let's Play!" while engaging in collaborative, hands-on experiences. As a former pediatric and  nurse, Patty thoughtfully supports each child in reaching important developmental milestones outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Her program incorporates safe, nature-inspired play, Montessori-influenced activities, age-appropriate creative experiences, lively Spanish songs, and therapeutic interactions with animals. Every activity is designed to foster cognitive, emotional, physical, and social growth in a warm and responsive environment.

Patty cares for a small group of children in her spacious home in Chapel Hill. The property includes a large fenced backyard and several neighborhood parks within walking distance, providing daily opportunities for outdoor exploration. Each child enjoys wholesome homemade meals and has a dedicated crib in a quiet room, allowing them to follow their individual nap schedule comfortably and consistently.

A mother of three, Patty is a native Spanish speaker with South American roots. She holds a master's degree in Spanish and French translation from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a nursing degree from Duke University. With more than 20 years of experience in pediatrics, labor and delivery, and newborn care, she brings both professional expertise and heartfelt dedication to her work with young children.
